The gun debate notwithstanding, Albuquerque has a lot more problems than firearms. That city is drowning in substance addiction, mental illness, and the associated homelessness.

Yet, when Obama had the policy in effect to use SS rolls to identify people with mental illness, you fuckers screamed bloody murder.

Yeah, I knew the crazy uncle reference would go over your head. But a transfer of a weapon to someone with a history of mental health problems is like doing no background check at all. Looks like you’re on board with that, too.

Do this, Cletus, after the next mass murder, don’t try the “we need better mental health access.” You just shot yourself in the foot with that issue.

What she's "taking" is the right to bear arms... and it is still just as unconstitutional. Most of us expect their leadership to follow their oaths of office, not tell folks that they don't have to if they utter the magic word "emergency". Do better NM, just do better.
