I like JPP because of its loose moderation. It allows many people who have been banned from other forums due to their anger, bigotry, irrationality and mental instability. All of which is a major draw for me. :)

While it's also fun to have friendly discussions such as on "the nice thread", it's observing how people react to current events over time that interests me the most. Clearly some are flatout mentally ill. Several are simply suffering from dementia and consequential paranoia. Some are simply angry and venting their rage on strangers without recognizing those strangers as human beings. A few are rational, educated and emotionally mature. :)

A microscope isn't science. It's an instrument. We already have plenty of microscopes that can see cells and even the components of them, like DNA.

This 'scientist' is scamming. She was breaking the law and he visa was revoked. She is subject to deportation. There's no 'breakthrough' microscope technology here.

Sybil AKA @Into the Night AKA @gfm7175 AKA @IBDaMann AKA @Uncensored2008 and possibly a few other socks clearly has mental issues.

Everyone has opinions and there's a wide range of views that fit within the realm of reasonable. Sybil's views are clearly outside those parameters.

One of the main reasons I love JPP so much is due to the loose moderation which allows nutjobs like Sybil, Fredo and a slew of elderly dementia victims the freedom to post where other forums would have banned them. It's a target rich environment for studying such poor souls.

He can't help himself. It's part of his condition.

@Cypress and myself have discussed the subject of Free Will several times. I believe human beings have free will but clearly not all people have the same levels of mental acuity to do so. Some are just stupid. Some are irrational. While such people can be helped, there's only so much that can be done.

OTOH, some people are simply poorly educated but of normal intelligence and rationality. Those people can most certainly be helped and, IMO, We, the People, should do so.
