Yeah... the first four were great... five was ok... six and seven I was not impressed with. Not really sure I want to check out 8.
Yep that's exactly right. As for season 8, save yourself and don't.

Was that the season of The Trinity Killer?
Would you recommend Dextor or Game of Thrones.
oh dude.... this season gets so much worse. I am actually looking forward to your reaction to this trainwreck of a season.
Game of Thrones, without a doubt
I can't answer that as I don't have HBO and I have not seen Game of Thrones. I definately recomment Dexter. The first four season are excellent. The remaining 4 are good too but not quite as good as the first four season.Would you recommend Dextor or Game of Thrones.
Yea....I have to admit...it was a slog through season 7 and I've heard season 8 isn't any better and that the final episode is a real dissapointment.im so sorry
If it's any worse than the ending to season 7 I'll be seriously bummed....having said that...Season 4 more than makes up for any dissapointments. Lithgow's Character was absolutely one of the creepiest villians ever and the chemistry between him and Michael C. Hall was must watch TV not to mention the shocking surprise ending of season 4.oh dude.... this season gets so much worse. Then conversely there was HBO's Rome which was freakin awesome. I thought even better than Breaking Bad but ended just as it was getting started. I'd like to see them do a prequal where they cover the rise of Marius and Sulla, through the social wars onto the early careers or Caesar and Pompey. One of the things I really liked about Breaking Bad was the fact that they did not drag it out until it got awful and lost viewers.

What I'm kind of interested in, is that Dexters son, even though only a toddler witnessed the murder of his mother. Does he start showing the signs of psychopathy as a child that Dexter did?
Ill check it out.

I HATED season five and always wanted to slap that Lumen into the next county. I used to bitch about her to Darla and Rana, they probably thought I was nuts! But I liked season six and the Doomsday killers, it had me fooled.
Never! I hated it, too
It's a movie, Jarod. Hollyweird does this to Republican politicians all the time. It's the ultimate straw man.I watched the Netflix documentary "Mitt" last night.
Has anyone else seen it? I cant tell if its simply his very dour personality or if he knew, in the closing weeks, he was about to lose the election. I was kind of shocked and surprised at how negative the entire family seemed. They portrayed such an up beat image during the campaign. I was also surprised at the formality between Romney and Ryan. The media reported it as if Romney was shocked by the loss, but in the documentary it did not seem that way to me.
The film did make me like Romney more, he seemed more real in many ways. It made me like his wife less, she seemed very detached and kind of spoiled.

You do realize that you were watching a hollweird production, right?I just got done watching and mostly agree with you. One part I didn't take to was when the family was kneeling and praying about the 2008 election, it seemed like they believed that God wanted them to win; it didn't come across with any humility. I didn't get a negative vibe from Ann or any of the family re: their personalities. I thought she seemed genuine when talking about her health and the effect it had on everything. Mitt seemed more relaxed and friendly than he appeared during the campaign. The biggest fault IMO was that they seemed entitled and out of touch with regular Americans. Every scene and person looked airbrushed, even the little kids.
