I only watched a few minutes of football today, Auburn v Oklahoma.
Auburn got fucked by the refs. Blatantly. That long TD should’ve been called back and assessed a 15 yard penalty. AFAIC, it was a tie.
Hopefully replays can be used to assess penalties eventually.
And the polls fucked auburn by kicking them out of the top 25

Yes, t think I saw at least two penalties by the Okies in that play. Still a pretty good pass and reception, in any case.

Go Huskies!

Yes, indeed. It's a rebuilding year - both Micheal Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze are racking up big numbers their first year in the NFL. Can the Dogs, who struggled with Idaho in their home opener overcome those evil Buckeyes in Ohio - where I hear "they're eating the dawwwwwwgggs" :)

Holy shit! I just saw the Huskies prevent Ohio St. from getting 1/2 yard for a 1st and forced a turnover on downs in the red zone! Go Huskies!!!

Fuck! Now the coaches get 2 unsportsmanlike calls and push their own team back to the goal line. If Ohio St. scores on the next drive? It's 100% on the stupid fucking coaches!!

This Alabama team has some players on it, QB is probably the most gifted I've seen so far this year, he may not be the best, that could be a lot people, maybe Carson Beck, but Tyler Simpson is a stud QB, he is a 1st round pick for sure.

Most teams in the top 10 are overrated IMO.
Agreed.
Ohio State's win over Texas doesn't look impressive. They did slightly better than UTEP, at home no less.
Agreed. Texas is definitely overrated in and of themselves, and Ohio State barely beat them. Ohio State hasn't faced any "real challenge" yet, Texas being the closest thing.
Penn State has played... nobody.
... and now they just got done losing to a nobody who tried their very best to allow Penn State back into the game at the end.
Miami has the best resume.
Correct. Out of the top teams, they've been the most "battle tested" thus far.
Oregon struggled against Wisconsin who got clobbered by Alabama.
They struggled against the Badgers last year (but the Badgers are even worse this year than they were last year), and the Ducks needed OT to beat Penn State (who now just got done dropping a game against UCLA). Let's see how Oregon does against Indiana. Other than that game, Oregon's schedule is pretty darn weak throughout, so giving them a 3 seed is overrating them.
FSU looks pretty impressive w/ that win over Alabama.
FSU has had some tough games (coming up on the short end of them the last two weeks), but yeah that win over Alabama was solid. FSU ain't bad at all.
Georgia shoulda lost to Tenn.
Correct.
At this point in the season I'd have to rank Miami at No. 1
Agreed (and I'd still do so right now).
At the mid-September point, quite reasonable. At this point, obviously not.
After that... nobody looks particularly impressive.
Agreed. Miami impresses me the most.
Although Oklahoma looks like they have a good offense, LSU and Texas, good defenses but Texas' QB stinks.
Nobody really stands out at this point, IMO.
Yup. Arch is riding on the Manning name, like Shedeur is riding on the Sanders name.

Wisconsin was a little better last year but are on a decaying orbit the last half dozen years or so. If Oregon gets by Penn State it looks like clear sailing but going to Iowa in November could be a trap game.
The Badgers were A LOT better last year than this year (and they weren't worth a shit last year). This year, they're barely even good enough to beat mid-majors. They have probably the most porous OL in the NCAA, and ZERO run game (largely because of the OL). They don't even know who they are anymore. Fickell took a team that was stalling a bit and turbo-boosted them into a downward spiral of oblivion.

Texas has gotten exactly what they deserve, and the rest of the SEC is loving it

Texas has now set a modern record for the quickest team to start the season ranked no. 1 overall and then drop out of the AP rankings completely.
You'd have to scramble hard to find a single non-Longhorn source that has Texas ranked in the top ten of the conference, as the mask is beginning to fully come off of this mediocre-at-best program.
