NATO is a Cold War Relic

Americans, especially in Hollywood, always seek to inflate their own contributions and diminish others. A good example of that is the film U571, where it was Americans that captured an Enigma machine. Total bullshit but ignorant fuckers like you lap it up.

BUT, it was a GREAT movie. Who thinks that movies are reality anyway?

What are the odds of you ever saying anything truthful? I have been all up and down the Normandy beaches from Ouistreham to Pointe de Hoc more than once. There are in fact several statues to Montgomery. Here is just one in Colleville-Montgomery, yes that's right they renamed the village after him.

In fairness, he did specify in the USA. Your fabled trip to Normandy is irrelevant.

I heard the producers wanted to use Englishmen for the roles, but their teeth were awful and audiences who viewed their screen tests couldn't understand what they said.

Uhhhh...we tried to stay neutral just like WWII. We entered the war after the Lusitania sinking and millions had already died thinking we could just keep trading with everyone and not be dragged into it.

What the fuck do you think happened? So what about WWII and Korea?

The Lusitania was in 1915 dipshit. We went another 2 years without getting involved. If you don't wanna die, maybe don't travel on a ship carrying munitions in a warzone.

Don't you think that Truth Detector, who was born in Germany, might just know that?

As the first American merchant vessel lost to Germany’s aggression during the Great War, the William P. Frye incident sparked the indignation of many in the United States. The German government’s apology and admission of the attack as a mistake did little to assuage Americans’ anger, which increased exponentially when German forces torpedoed and sank the British-owned ocean liner Lusitania on May 7, 1915, killing more than 1,000 people, including 128 Americans. The U.S., under President Woodrow Wilson, demanded reparations and an end to German attacks on all unarmed passenger and merchant ships. Despite Germany’s initial assurances to that end, the attacks continued.

In early February 1917, when Germany announced a return to unrestricted submarine warfare, the U.S. broke off diplomatic relations with the country. By the end of March, Germany had sunk several more passenger ships with Americans aboard and Wilson went before Congress to ask for a declaration of war on April 2, which was made four days later. The first American ships arrived in Europe within a week, marking a decisive end to U.S. neutrality.

Trump is right.

If the other NATO nations don't buck up, we should consider disbanding the organization.

Damn another commie sympathizer. NATO was started by similar thinking countries to provide a mutual defense against non-democratic countries, mainly Russia. It aklso provided a sounding board for the member countries to talk over differences. They are the front line of a Riussian expansionist attack. America is not.

The other nations have bucked the fuck up. They agreed to attain the 2 percent military by 2024. They are doing it exactly as they said they would. They are honoring their promises. It is again Trump who wants to ignore deals. He can change his mind whenever he feels like it.

Russia would love to see NATO disassembled. They have been dreaming of it being destroyed. But there was no way we were going to permit that, until now. Trump is more interested in getting Russia what they want than keeping our many decades old pacts alive. He has a bigger affinity with Russia than England, Germany, Canada and other capitalistic countries. If you cannot see this and it does not disturb you, then you are as dangerous as daffy Donald.

They also agreed to do that in 2006, did that happen?

Without the Brits there would have been no Operation Overlord, without the Brits Hilter would have conquered Russia, North Africa and the Middle East.

It's a wonder you aren't a global superpower!

PS you are going to lose in the world cup the first great team you face, like France! France the greatest country in Europe!
