NAACP Is Finally Useless

Well if you believe that then you need to go back to school and touch up on your reading skills. Show me where I said the whole group is racist? You'd have to be a completely blind partisan moron not to see the racist element in the tea party and I'll stand by my comments. If the leaders of the teabaggers are sincere about not being racist then what the fuck is so tough about making a ringing public stand rejecting that racist element. Unless of course they are racist and that is their position.
By your logic you could say the NAACP is just as racist for not distancing themselves from their racist elements (the black panthers).

Last I heard the Black Panthers weren't a part of the NAACP but if Louis Farrakhan was, yes, I would expect them to distance themselves from him.

I've obviously hit a sore nerve with teabaggers.

That noted conservative Barbara Boxer is up for re-election and what issue gets mentioned most by her campaign team? Yep, abortion.
I come from John Boehner's district in Ohio. In my home county abortion is the single biggest political issue and I'll say the same thing about Boxer's liberal constituents and Boehner's conservative one. If abortion is their biggest political issue, they're morons.

I don't know who exactly the leaders of the tea party are but I've seen comments saying that don't want racist signs, comments etc. at tea party events. Of course it's much easier to make a comment like yours and ignore what has been said because it gives a level of moral superiority.

Well you do have a good point about just who the leaders of the tea party are but come on. Signs? I mean that's good and all but that aint the same as making a very clear public effort through the media that there movement will not tolerate racist.

You mean like those racists at the NAACP refuse to do with the new black panthers?
Fuck off hypocrite

No, you're just an obvious hypocrite. nothing new there, though. you libtards are always hypocrites

Right when every staunch conservative knows that abortion, guns and gays are the most pressing issues.

That depends on whether you think wedge issues are always most important, or the general business of the day (economy, defense, etc.). There have been a lot of great wedge issues throughout history, such as slavery and civil rights, but was slavery really unimportant compared with market reform, homesteading, and the transcontinental railroad; and was civil rights really unimportant compared with the space race, the interstate highway act, Hungary, Cuba, and whatnot?

Tea Party people are not a part of the NAACP either! The point (no not the one on your head) is that the NAACP demonstrates their hypocrisy and as such their irrelevency with regards to racial equallity, tolerance and justice. This is glaringly apparent when they focus on a non existant problem in the TEA party and will not even address the overt racial hatred demonstrated by themselves and other Black persons and or organizations in the public arena.

Your own hypocricy is likewise obvious. Teabaggers is a derisive and ugly label and yet you use it with ease...you are the asshole and so are NAACP members...it's not a sore nerve it's disgust at what people like you and the NAACP have done to real racial problems...you have made race a joke and irrelevent...

when the naacp gets the racist or condemns the racist in their own org, then they can talk...

its clear they are no longer relevent and are merely trying to gain attention by riding the tea party coat tails

i hope the dems keep using the race card

It's not meant for you republiKlansman to understand. It's to make democrats and independents aware of the blatant racism or at least shine more light the tea baggers.

NAACP considers resolution decrying racist elements in tea-party movement
By JUDY L. THOMAS
The Kansas City Star

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will propose a resolution this week condemning racism within the tea party movement.

The resolution, scheduled for a vote as early as Tuesday by delegates attending the annual NAACP convention in Kansas City, calls upon “all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”

NAACP must keep pushing for change, chief says

KANSAS CITY • The head of the NAACP paused, started, then paused again when trying to explain what the message of his keynote address would be when he steps to the podium tonight at the civil rights organization's national convention.

"The core message will be that we've got to pull this nation back together and put this country back to work," said Benjamin Jealous, president and CEO of the NAACP, in an interview.

Jealous' strategy for pulling the country back together might at first blush surprise those at the convention. His idea: Follow the lead of the Tea Party movement, which emerged in full force after the election of President Barack Obama with rallies, town hall meetings and a "take back the country" mantra.

The NAACP has finally gone over the edge to complete lunacy.

I'd rate this post a 9.9 on the Richter Scale of Irony....coming from a dude who used to parade around with this pic in your avatar,
obamaafro.jpg
and who routinely makes blatantly racist or racially insensitive remarks. Your fellow message board Cons, oddly enough, pretty much never call you out on it. It's almost like they're comfortable having racists in their midst, much like the Tea Bag Partiers. In fact, judging from your rep points and thanks, it appears your racism and buffoonery is routinely validated by your fellow Tea Bag partiers.

I suspect if Cons called out racists in their midst, and shot them down in flames, the NAACP wouldn't feel obligated to mention it. In short, NAACP is doing the job that Cons should have done themselves.

We know. It's a racist group for poor worthless black folks who need someone to blame for their being losers and pumping out crack babies.

What a worthless group of people.

I’ll have to make a point to remember this hilarious thread anytime some Rand Paul, or some other Teabagger, says that civil rights acts and AA are unnecessary because the way to deal with racists is to shun them and make them social outcasts.

When an obvious rightwing racists like Webway and Tinfoil can patrol a board pretty much free of harassment or scolding, and indeed they routinely receives validation through significant amounts of rep points and thanks, then clearly many Cons aren’t being honest or straight forward about their alleged solutions to racism through the practice of social shunning.

"Fuck You Niggers!!!"

-Tinfoil, as heard on JPP.com, July 2009

I'd call tinfoil a grand wizard but he's not even smart enough to lead his klan brothers. But nice self burn tinfoil. KUDO's on the racist rant while your trying to be non racial.

Rastafari is the way Peace and love

The problem here is that the NAACP is right. There is a racist element in the tea party movement. Now that's not like saying all Teabaggers are racist like you Dweebway. If the Tea Party Movement is sincere about not being racist then they must distance themselves from that element and they must make a sincere and genuine effort to make that clear to the public. That shouldn't be so hard for the Teabaggers to now should it? That is unless they are racist.

The NAACP can no longer use the battle cry of racism against the white man since Obama was elected. So now they go after groups that do not praise Obama and call it racism. And what proof do they have, where is the evidence? THe NAACP wants to take the heat of der leader, due to the fact he is the worst we have ever had.
