My Thoughts on the Coming Election

Then it's high time they were stopped, don't you think? In the name of democracy and respect for fellow citizens.

That would truly be nice if they could stick to presenting their respective visions/ideas for the country's future and left all the other bullshit behind. Instead we get one politician after another who hides behind rhetoric and rarely offers any concrete plan for fear of 'being attacked' for it. Not a single collective backbone in DC.

If you think Obama is a 'left of center moderate' then you are a bigger hack than I thought. Obama is absolutely and ideologue. Far more so than Bush. Bush was a puppet for the most part.

So what is the idea Obama won't co promise on, with Bush it was Iraq, and he may have been a puppet but it was still the issue he would not compromise.

Isn't Obama "just like Bush," and "Bush III"?

While he has certainly maintained many of Bush's programs, Obama is far to the left of Bush. Keep in mind, fiscally Bush was way to the left of center and socially way to the right of center.

So what is the idea Obama won't co promise on, with Bush it was Iraq, and he may have been a puppet but it was still the issue he would not compromise.

Being forced to compromise doesn't make anyone less an ideologue, it just means they weren't strong enough of a leader to get everything they wanted (to be clear, barring dictators, not to many possess that power).
