My Thoughts on the Coming Election

why on earth would they bother.....all they have to do is repeat "jobs" over and over......

Obama beat McCain by 9.5 million votes......there are 13.9 million unemployed people.....guess what.....

You know what? The overwhelming majority won't blame Obama for their lack of jobs, but the Republicans, for lying about doing something about them, in 2010.

this is why you are going to lose, you think this election is over global warming instead of over jobs.....

Stupid bitch. Who shipped jobs overseas? The corporations that have been the Republicans "bread and butter", that's who. Jobs were in decline under Bush, and escalated during and after the financial meltdown of Oct. 2008. And the obstructionist Republicans you think are not to blame? LOL. This election will be about preserving and providing healthcare to millions under Obamacare, and the willingness of Republicans who were willing to gut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and unions. Watch. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

LOL... Two years with supermajorities and all we got was this lousy healthcare... People blame Obama, it's why his numbers are in the pits. They watched him spend trillions with very little effect.

It's going to be comical to watch the ads with him going to one company after another that they gave a grant to talking about how great they are, while listing the date they went bankrupt and out of business...

This is insane people want jobs, not promises of a "new green economy"... The problem with this ideologue in the White House is there is no interim planning. Either it's the technology that doesn't exist to power "the future" or nothing. They can't feed themselves with the promise of a "new economy" and "hope"...

But on a brighter note, they might make 500 Chevy Volts next year and those mice are well funded in San Francisco.

And you're "short-sighted". The present "doing business as usual" is unsustainable. We had better find alternative energy sources, and fast, or we're more fucked than we already are.

Ahahahaha, and no filibusters, right, wow, Damo has someone possessed you lately? Are you channeling Yurt?

Really? Why are his poll numbers higher than all of Congress, still? And you know whose poll numbers are even lower? Rupert Murdoch. Ooops, there goes Fox News, the Wall St. Journal, and all his holdings. LOL

No, you are blindsided. There is a meaning to "interim", can you look it up and tell me what it is? Thanks, my dictionary.com is broken.

Congressional numbers are always, and I mean always, that way. However, at this time Gallup shows that in head to head against Romney, Obama loses, he's tied with Bachmann, and only 7 points ahead of fricking Palin, yeah Palin... Tied with Perry. Look it up, Congressional numbers were equally low when Bush was in the tank...

Let's pull this into some reality, Bush II never went below 46% in his first term, Bush III, definitely lower.

I don't need to. It means "in between time", or presently.

Right, a leader understands, especially when dealing with non-existent technologies, that there needs to be interim planning. It isn't short-sighted to expect a plan for the interim, it's short-sighted to ignore the interim for the magical future that doesn't and cannot exist with current technology while trying to take away current technologies or price people out of them...

Unfortunately we don't have a leader in the WH, we have an ideologue.

What does that matter? Obama isn't running against Congress. And aren't Congresses numbers usually lower than the Presidents?

Oh, isn't that convenient. You can make convenient excuses, but only you. And you can't always believe what you read in the papers. Obama has a billion dollar warchest...and money talks and bullshit walks.

LOL. Sez you.

Yup. They always are. People generally are happy with "their" congressman, but not with congress as a whole. It's one of the most worthless polls ever taken. I don't remember ever seeing them above 26%.

Yes. Hence my name above the post. This isn't a very salient argument against my point. In fact it isn't an argument at all.

Sorry, Damo, but you're not the end all or the be all. Yours is just an opinion, just like mine. One of us is wrong. I happen to think it's you. Time will tell, won't it? I can wait. Can you?

BS got him his job, but it won't sustain it, a billion dollars will go to naught if the jobs situation doesn't improve. The idea that we should follow Europe into fail isn't selling anymore. 25% of Democrats believe that a D should challenge Obama for the nomination. Even three months ago that would be absurd to suggest but now it is reality.

I'm looking forward to it, this is going to be one of the most entertaining Presidential races ever.

"Spin"...but I expect it. Wishful thinking. You underestimate Mr. Comeback. LOL. He got Bin Laden, when everyone thought he was down and out. LOL. He'll catch you with your drawers down again.
