No, you said you opposed building at this site because some families of some of the victims opposed it. Well, how far away is far enough away for you to decide that the families' objections are meritless?
 
If 9/11 families oppose this, what is their reasoning? Is there logic to it...rationality?

I have endless sympathy for their loss, but I won't support some sort of irrational prejudice when it comes to the rule of law....

I dont know, I would listen to the families and consider strongly there views.

If the families said, I hate Muslims and want you to all leave the United States, I would not honor that request... If they asked for something more simple and realistic, I would honor that request.

Prejudice against a murderous and totalitarian ideology is quite rational.

If they believe in islam they do support a totalitarian ideology. terrorism is NOT a PERVERSION of islam. Terrorism is sanctified in islam. It's calld jihad. educate yourself.

Because Muslims are like Hitler and if you don't oppose the mosque you are a Nazi-sympathizer.

Oh, and the project is a symbol of Muslim conquest.

Just speaking regionally, because obviously there are millions of Muslim Americans - over the past 4 decades, who has tried to impose their ideology more? The mostly Muslim nations of the Middle East over Western powers like the US, or countries like the US over areas like the Middle East?

I agree with that when discussing fundamentalist Muslims, much like I agree with that when discussing fundamentalist Christians and Jews...

I dont agree with that when discussing Chrisitans, Muslams or Jews in general.
