How is that any different than USC source? They were identified as someone from the the sports department. And it was not Cohen, it was a news source.

Holy crap. It was in fact the news source who said it was confirmed. It wasn't just Cohen you dirty liar, the news source said a USC source confirmed what Cohen said.
How do you even know they are part of the investigation, let alone investigators? You don't because they are anonymous.
Why is it important you need the name of the USC source who confirmedwhat Cohen said, but you don't need the names of the sources for the OP?

How do you know they are investigators? The article says the sources are familiar with the matter, it never claims they are confidential or investigators, you made that crap up.
Further, maybe the USC source wants to remain confidential or anonymous.
So, we have established that you are two faced. Demanding the USC source be named, but arguing the "people familiar with the matter" keep their identity unknown.
