More Indoctrination

Do you think that the SCOTUS lives in a bubble? By the time a case gets to the United States Supreme Court, it's already passed through all the lower courts and one side or the other appeals it up to that level.

Abortion is something totally different. Let me ask you something....why are you so adamant on forcing religion down people's throat? Even God gave us free will. Why can't you be happy in the knowledge that you and yours are saved?

Where have you saw anyone on this forum, trying to force religion down anyone's throat?

I am not forcing anything down peoples throat, you are right it is their choice, but abortion is nothing more than the taking of innocent life. Also I am bound to take the gospel to the people it's the great commission

Then why not just say it that way, which they didn't. You are wrong but it helps further your agenda so of course you think it was their intention.

They did say it that way. Jefferson said it that way in his letter. Madison expressed the same ideas in his Memorial and Remonstrances. You wish to read selectively and ignore the things that go against your faith just like pmp ignores the bulk of the article in the op to focus on one paragraph. Social conservatives are dishonest and immoral revisionists.

non sense it is never stated in the constitution, and his LETTERS were about keeping the state out of the church.

I did not say it was stated that way in the constitution.

You are either lying or misinformed. The letter from Jefferson mentions how he refrained from proclaiming a national day of prayer as he believed it conflicted with the first and was not a part of his authority as President.

"I am for freedom of religion, and against all maneuvers to bring about a legal ascendency of one sect over another." -- Thomas Jefferson to Elbridge Gerry, 1799. ME 10:78

as am I, I do not want a theocracy, but I am tired of people saying that separation of Church and State is in the constitution, and requires the state to step in every time someone mentions God in any form.

Are you saying that was cause to keep prayer out of school!

Riiiiight....you are so righteous, aren't you? Let those without sin cast the first stone. How many times in the bible does it say "better for that person never to be born"? Just curious.

I think it's a sin too... but we are all sinners...every single last one of us. There is no sin that is worse than another...God does not quantify....we do. So, just the very nature of your self righteousness and your judgmental ways is a sin and an affront to God himself. God has things under control and doesn't NEED or WANT your help on casting that judgment... you overstep your authority every time you do so.

God does have a plan son....and the all knowing and all powerful who can read hearts and minds like turning the pages of a book doesn't need a lackey. He needs us to honor him by teaching our children his word, doing our best to keep our word and to trust in him.

The rest just makes you, an imperfect person feel better about yourself by denigrating other imperfect people.

You are arguing a strawman. No one said those words are in the constitution. It is argued that that was the intent of the first amendment by Jefferson. Madison, the author, and the courts have agreed.

The state is not required to step in every time someone mentions God in any form.

You have a strange and ridiculously ignorant definition of the state. Really it is more about being convenient to your blatant lies. The state is somehow the courts and not the school except when the school teaches evolution or the court is Roy Moore's.

I had to reread this; because at first I thought it was you describing your own behavior, regarding the expanded background checks.

Well, if that's the case then why are you judging me? I mean, if what I said was judgmental....then by the same set if criteria....so is your response.

I wasn't the one throwing around condemnations for being judgmental.....shucks, I don't mind being judgmental......I chalk you down as a fail, three to four times a day......

Of course you do...because you don't care for my politics. I was just trying to help a fellow Christian see that Christ's message isn't about all that hate and admonition.

Besides....I fully admitted that I am a sinner and no better than anyone else.

Not your Son, so are you saying telling people the truth is wrong.
