He'd of been F'd as a person too. I got news for you. If this had happened in the 1960's at Ohio State Woody Hayes would have supported the Students too. Hell he supported the Students right to protest the war in Vietnam, he didn't agree with them but he supported their political rights and this was back in the day when legally speaking they didn't have political rights.

So I don't buy that bullshit. You know why? Cause your forgetting the other side of the equation. What quality white students would want to play for a coach lacking in the character to do the right thing? So it's complete bullshit to make this a "just a football" thing and I bet every single coach on Missous football team would passionately disagree with you and be offended by your gross generalization.

It's more than about P.C. Mott. There were no 'safe spaces' and 'micro aggressions' when we were in school. Did you ever hear a student say they can't hear someone else speak because it will set off 'triggers' for them? Did you ever see a student reporter threatened by a professor for taking photos of a protest in the middle of campus because the reporter was violating their safe space?

You haven't been paying attention. Shit today is on a whole new level.

Do you want to show me a time during the '60's when the football players walked out threatened to not play on a Saturday under Woody? I'm going to guess that never ever happened.

Oh give me a break. I'd have to ask you what does this have to do with the price of fish? There have always been people in academia talking that crap. ALWAYS!! They don't garner a campus wide movement to change the culture at the University. This is about a pattern of systemic racism by people at and in the community around that campus and what the University was going to do about it? Nothing was done and so they got fed up and took action. I think this was great of these kids to participate in such a civic minded manor to protect the rights of their fellow students to be free from racist harassment.

Can you show the last time that happened in our lifetime? If I am correct this is the first time this has happened at a major University Football program in my lifetime. I think it took a lot of courage on the part of those student athletes too as PiMP, asshole as he is, illustrated what was at risk. Racist assholes like him taking away their scholarships for doing the right thing.

Alright man. I graduated 'SC in '95. There was none of this stuff that they have today. When I go to games and talk to guys in school you hear the stories. South Park didn't do that safe space song for no reason.

You were arguing Woody would stand up for the students. Pinkel came out and said I support my team AFTER his players protested and said they would skip Saturday's game.

lets examine what is at risk, Moop.....if the team had failed to play, I heard on the news Missouri would have had to forfeit $1 million.....now, I'm the coach and I know that if that had happened I would have been fired the next day......am I a racist asshole not because I have ever said anything negative about anyone's race on this board or anywhere else, but because I recognize these forty or fewer guys took way too much authority in their hands?.........

I wouldn't be asking for extra laps, I would be recommending some transfers to community colleges.....and Woody would have been reaming ass and you know it.........
