But if you want to put it in that context, what she said wasn't wrong. She said we live in a country where you can choose gay marraige or regular marriage. That's technically correct. If you live in this country and are gay and want to experience "marraige" you can choose to move to Vermont or Iowa or some other of the few states where such has been legalized.

You're missing the point. It was a completely inappropriate question. She should have refused to answer it. It's none of his god damned business what she thinks about gay marriage. That's a personal matter. What if he had asker her about her position on the Iraq war? How about her position on abortion? She's a beauty pagent contestant for christ sakes!

You're both missing the point. It didn't matter what her question was. Pro gay marriate, against gay marriage, neutral about gay marriage, she would have pissed someone off. It was a completely unfair question for Perez to ask and the only person who's a bigger idiot than him is the moron who put him on the panel.

Go to the Philippines. I went to the Ms. Pilipinas Filipina contest with my wife. There equivelant of Ms America. During the bikini competition all the ladies were wearing Brazillian style metallic gold bikinis. When they walked out all the guys, including the judges, jaws hit the floor. It was pure sex appeal.
 
I agree, the question should never have been asked in the first place. It appears it was a set-up as so often happens.
