We already have proper police, largely. In every force, there are few bad apples. Prosecute them for the crimes they commit. That is being done. Being a police officer is no immunity in the United States. The United States is not a democracy. It is a federated republic. It has constitutions. Even the police have to conform to those constitutions and the laws passed under them.

Don't see how. Floyd was being arrested for robbery. During the entire time the cop's knee was on him, Floyd was talking the whole time. Doesn't sound like someone that can't breath to me. He didn't die of anything like a collapsed windpipe.

It's also a State and City problem. What solutions do you think should be implemented first? "Don't shoot people who don't deserve it"? I agree, and, yes, it happens too much that Americans are being killed by police.

Personally, if Biden wants to pass some Federal law, then implement a plan to equip all 750K+ of America's LEO's with body cams and the requirement they be on during their entire shift.
