The killing of Floyd was a trigger to deep-seated social issues such as massive unemployment, social inequality and bias by government authority.

Statistically it would make sense that more white ppl are shot by cops since obviously whites are a majority, for now. Not sure if it's the same now, but when we lived in STL shootings were a nightly feature on the news. They had lots of them. Most were citizens capping each other, but some were police-involved as well. And yep, they showed every incidence no matter what the color of the person shot.

Another Michael Brown killed by cops for no good reason. This happened near where we used to live. He was white, as were his buddies.
