If the soldier is being fed on base or receiving a stipend for that, wouldn't they have money to feed their kids? It sounds like the same type of thing where the kids of civilian food stamp recipients also get free lunch despite the amount being determined based on 3 meals/day for 365 days/year.

The active duty service member gets fed or gets a stipend. They are responsible for feeding their own dependents.

Anyone who has been in a grocery line behind an EBT user knows .... Cutting their benefits will only help them .

Here's what's in their carts .... 6-3 liter bottles of soda , and full of junk food .
