Militia takes over federal building in Oregon

I think it's worth knowing that they are basically just trespassing inside of a very basic bare bones building in a very rural area and aren't doing any physical harm to anybody. The building that they are in isn't like some national or state park lodge with a gift shop and food court and the weather conditions aren't exactly ideal and so I think people are probably picturing their surroundings in the wrong way. I do think that they should leave though and while leaving should negotiate a way to meet with government officials to talk about their issues in a better way. I don't think that they should be condemned for this though since it's our responsibility as Americans to challenge our government's power if we feel like our liberty is being threatened. If they feel that way then I can't fault them, but I do think that it's probably time to leave and talk it out.

Should they be prosecuted for breaking and entering? Burglary? Armed insurrection? Armed Trespass, as any other person who broke into that building would?
 
Occupiers and Black Lives Matter groups destroyed private and public property, and in some cases, have been involved in violent and, or, criminal behavior.

Reaction to inappropriate and or unlawful protest should be even handed regardless of the politics d'jour.

Does anyone remember how the media foamed at the mouth over the civil and peaceful protests of TEA Party groups? How media whipped up angst over them?

The Sheriff and the towns people at the townhall meeting want them out!
The Sheriff stated that he was assured there would be charges.

Everyone says no one has been affected, but from the sounds of the people at the meeting their lives have been disrupted, they do not feel safe, so isn't this a form of terrorism?

Then you better be willing to round up everyone of those rioters that caused damage to private, and public property, and prosecute them to the full extent of the law.

In a perfect world they would/could have been. And most people would be ok with that, myself included. But with rioting you've got large numbers of people going in and out of areas quickly, and a police force that usually can't keep up with everyone.

This is different. They know the names of just about every dumbass up there, they know where they are and exactly what they've done/said they are willing to do.

Should everyone take a breath and wait until something is decided, prior to going over the edge.

Got it they should have covered their faces, stole everything from the vending machines, taken the large screen tv, stripped the cars of their tires, and burned the place, and the vehicles.
