The officer’s statement matches the account of a fellow member of the pro-Trump mob, Thomas Baranyi, who caught Babbitt as she fell back. Baranyi, who still had Babbitt’s blood on his hand when he spoke to a local news crew outside the Capitol minutes later, said that “a number of police and Secret Service were saying, ‘Get back, get down, get out of the way.’ She didn’t heed the call.”

Was he one of the many FBI plants in the crowd? How come the videos didn't record it shit for brains. Lots of other people say Byrd issued no commands before he shot.

Desh is fond of citing "earwitness" testimony when she can't back up her bullshit.

An idiot Capitol Police officer who has shown repeated incompetence in his ability to do his job, and during a riot murders one of the rioters, not following federal use-of-force guidelines--to the point of gross incompetence--is whining now that he's got personal and financial issues as a result of that? He should. He should also be charged for his reckless discharge of his firearm in violation of use-of-force rules. That's normally what happens when you misuse your firearm.

Watching that video, it's clear that the other protesters saw the firearm and were shouting warnings while backing away from the doors for the most part. I'd say the officer clearly wasn't situationally aware and paying attention to his surroundings any more than to proper use-of-force rules. The officer gave no warning, and that the other protesters saying "He's got a gun" and the like are meaningless in this situation. It is incumbent on the federal officer to give a warning and try less than lethal resolution before resorting to deadly force. The Capitol Police officer is clearly not performing his duties as required and should be held accountable for his misactions.

So, you’re another that completely ignores the testimony of the witness.
