The official documents governing classification and declassification stem from executive orders. But even these executive orders aren’t necessarily binding on the president. The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those."

This isn't even about "classification." It's about whether the former President can retain documents over a certain timeline and has them properly secured. In other words, it's nothing more than a document dispute that has been completely blown out of proportion by the same Democrat lying assholes who gave us the "Russia Collusion" hoax, the "Ukraine phone call" hoax, the January 6th inquisition HOAX and now the public document hoax.

After a while, Americans, who are busy trying to make ends meet with skyrocketing inflation, skyrocketing crime and a massive invasion on our southern border to even care what Chicken little DNC is crying about next.

When a president declassifies a document, it changes from classified to de-classified.

The security classification is removed and the document is available for anyone to see and read, even dolts from Florida.
