Many fewer U.S. gun owners

You were asked the same questions about the survey, and you posted a link and said "Knock yourself out". Now you want me to answer them?

I am not denying the survey's validity. You are.

In the absence of any factual evidence to the contrary, I see no merit to your position.

I have the survey in front of me, and am looking at it. I know what it says. I find it interesting that you cannot.

At the beginning of this thread, you were asked numerous questions about the survey. You were adamant in your refusal to answer any questions. In fact, you were openly hostile that we asked about the survey.

Now, you want someone else to answer the questions you refused to answer. I feel no need to do so.

You see, when you refuse to answer questions, I tend to eventually stop answering yours. I'm fine with that, how about you?

The study in question was compiled using national data spanning almost 40 years from the General Social Survey (GSS) conducted by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago (UOC).

According to NORC, “The General Social Survey (GSS) is one of NORC’s flagship surveys and our longest running project."

For the last third of a century, the GSS has been monitoring social change and the growing complexity of American society.

The GSS is the largest project funded by the Sociology Program of the National Science Foundation.

Except for the U.S. Census, the GSS is the most frequently analyzed source of information in the social sciences. It is the only survey that has tracked the opinions of Americans over an extended period of time.

Since the early 70s the survey has been asking respondents “Do you happen to have in your home (or garage) any guns or revolvers?”

Beginning in 1980, respondents who had a gun in their home are also asked, “Do any of these guns personally belong to you?”

In 2010, less than a third of households surveyed reported having a gun in their home.

I don't work in a chocolate factory; so you're assertion of fudge packing, will have to remain something in your fevered mind.
I've got $1.00 that says the only way you even have $10,000; is if your mother loans it to you, or you sell your collection of Star Wars figures.

wait you only have a dollar to bet, fucktard

The gunlovers don't even seem to comprehend what the survey says.

It says the number of individuals and households reporting gun ownership has declined.

They interpret that to mean "there are fewer guns being sold" and soil their panties.

They dredge up studies that say guns are being sold in great numbers, guns reduce crime, background checks are being conducted, etc., all without realizing that isn't the point.

Gunlovers are apparently reflexive and not too bright as a group.

Please take note: they have repeatedly proclaimed that a survey sample of 1,500 respondents is prima facie invalid....next time they quote a poll with 1,500 or fewer respondents, I will try to remind them of their belief....

Why would I want to take money from your mother, seeing as how it's probably hard enough on her to support your lazy ass.

Time to revive this thread....
