Ralph, you either know nothing about Manaforts charges, or are lying about it. manafort is charged with being an unregistered agent of a foreign government., Ukraine.

He is charged with 85 million in money laundering.
Charged with fraud .
Charged with making false statement to Federal officials.
Conspiracy to cooerce others into making false statements.
Failure to report many foreign bank accounts

Lots ofcrimes, tax evasion not among them.

The reason is that it's short and simple so morons can easily remember it, and it makes a good sound bite.

Kinda like Trump's own "Where's the beef???" or " Please don't squeeze the Charmin" campaign.

He knows that if he repeats it enough, it will sink into the subconscious of his moron base and they will begin to automatically associate the two.

Which says at least one thing, loud and clear: Mullet lacks a smoking gun. I’m sure he would prefer stone cold evidence of Trump-Russian collusion instead of having to rely on testimony from a witness who is himself, a criminal. Mullet’s pursuit of Manafort has the appearance of a Hail Mary pass: his alleged crimes are dated; he was only associated with Trump for a short time and none of the indictments are even tangentially related to the election.

All of which is rather surprising—if one goes by the hysteria. One would think, given some of the rhetoric, that Mullet would find good evidence of Russians colluding with Trump under the first rock he flipped over.

But here we are, well over two years of investigation by the FBI, congress and now an SP—and still, nothing.

My guess is future historians will have all manner of fun with it lol.

I keep thinking of that Tom Petty song " A rebel without a clue" in terms of the Russian collusion.

The only possible good coming out of this Rosenweasel contraption is that the nation learns never to do it again.
But we have the political memory of a gnat..so no good at all comes out of this bogus fishing expedition....

There is another avenue of this whole Russian collusion crap nobody has really talked about

The democrat party thinks they can use it to absolve themselves of all of their Soviet Union support for 90 years

Kinda like they do with the slave/anti civil rights thing

Also it gives them a built in excuse for losing elections. McCaskill and Nelson are already doing it

Maybe GayRod will answer why Putin hasn’t interfered in any of the special elections

Or

Can GayRod or any lefty produce one single solitary person who claims their vote was changed because of a FACEBOOK post?

Yup.

Russians meddling in the election and Russians *affecting* the election outcome are two entirely different things. But they are consistently conflated by the likes of Mad Maxine and some less responsible voices on the left.

Even if the Russians were meddling for Trump one has to be careful about what conclusions are drawn from that. But they go immediately to the ‘Trump is Putin’s puppet’ conclusion. I never thought it made much sense for Putin to favor Trump for the sake of policy—and if it was, that was clearly a miscalculation on his part.

But who knows. Trump was saying some things that might have led Putin into thinking Trump would be a push over. But I suspect Putin has learned that there’s Trump’s rhetoric vs Trump’s actions by now lol. China has learned that lesson as well. Trump was saying really neat things about Xi, even had him over for dinner, but Trump has turned out to be a pain in the ass for China.

It’s equally plausible Putin was merely sewing discord by pretending to back Trump. Putin isn’t stupid, he knew he couldn’t ‘win the election’ for a particular candidate. That’s crazy. Nobody, including Putin, thought Trump was going to win the election.

It’s all a big guessing game.
 
Putin ran some trolls, and supposedly hacked the DNC.. Now they say voter bases. None of which effected anything
