A fine upstanding poster
I think that would be blatantly unfair, being Donald and Melanie interviewed by Matt Lauer, claimed she wrote the speech, mostly by herself.
With help from Mrs. Obama?

How can this NOT affect votes?
People won't necessarily think about this incident when they vote. But each party depends mightily on a successful convention week to get that bump in the polls & momentum heading into the final stretch.
That's over now. Done. This week is about a plagiarized speech & a campaign's stubborn dishonesty & denial.
Well, yesWith help from Mrs. Obama?
Is that what you are wishing? How many people do you really think watched last night? How many people do you REALLY think care?
I guess this is your first campaign.
Convention week is crucial for a candidate. They just lost this one. And Trump needed it.
I love your frantic attempts to downplay this & deflect. Just like a good little partisan.
Small story if the liberal press didn't react the way they did this morning.
there is that, Mott....its what makes the rabid left's dick tingle that drives the news.......I have news for you Mott, sit down.
What makes your dick tingle isn't driving the news. You don't decide.
And you won't make it go away. Keep peddling. All you're doing is playing the fool. I should have paid more attention to Jarod and his tit posts. I always underestimate that shit.
Don't know....have no idea.
I understand Darla's point about the less than organized manner in which Trump's campaign is operating and it does seem that a major implosion is on it's way....this wasn't it though.
It was actually an old speech by the Welsh Windbag Neil Kinnock, Joe Biden used it almost word for word in 2008.

lol.....
The significance of the speech is that it was an introduction on a large scale of the Potential First Lady to the voting public.I'm sorry. I watched her speech last night. It was a boring bit of boiler plate on a night they are throwing red meat to the base. The only one who cares are journalist looking for a meaningless scoop and partisans. Michelle Obama's speech had absolutely no influence on my voting for Barry and Malania's speech will have no affect on my not voting for Trump.
If any of ya'll watched the convention coverage last night and all you came away with was "Malania copied Michelle" then you probably need to stop watching. I was far more concerned about the extreme hostility that many of the speakers had last night. To many of whom were using the language of fear and hate and hostility. This is of far more concern to me than Malania's lame assed speech. This is not good and not healthy for our nation and is probably indicative of how mean and nasty this campaign is going to get. The speeches last night were an overt appeal to the lower elements of our society, which has been the core strategy of the Trump campaign since the start.
The emotions that Trump is trying to tap into to advance his political ambitions are dangerous and irresponsible and I came away from last night extremely alarmed at the possibility that this man could win and ya'll came away from last night miffed cause of a boiler plate speech Trump's wife gave?
So the tone that was set last night didn't concern you? The appeals to hate and bigotry didn't bother you? The beating of the war drums didn't worry you?
Oh Mott you are very transparent in this, you are defending the woman because she has the better breasts. You feel bad for the supermodel because she had to play a part and she got caught using the words of a woman who is hated by most Trump supporters. Just come clean.
Laughing at your own lame jokes?
Even the RNC is at odds w/ the Trump campaign on this. You should check your notes.
It is t so much the watching last night as the news that follows. Trump depends heavily on the media, not all people watch Fox News. It's not a good thing.I guess this is your first campaign.

Ann Romney's speech did change a lot of perceptions about Mitt and herself for people. She was getting good marks for her speech by a lot of people and now this has put her in a bad light. I think she wasn't fond of the spotlight, but this has humiliated her and makes the campaign look bad, once again.
People think we copy each other, but they really don't get that we just see things the same way. A lot of things anyway. First of all, we're both women and of some experience in life.
Still playing by the old handbook are ya? Guess you political experts haven't learned anything this election cycle. And for the record, I am not a Trump supporter. It does seem odd that you keep trying to lay that on me. Using your logic, you are a Crooked Hillary supporter. I see you do nothing but defend her on this site. But, you probably don't want to talk about that do you?
Everything you guys have said was going to finish Trump hasn't finished Trump. Pointing that out does not make me a Trump supporter. It just means I am pointing out the truth.
I do, she was trying to deliver a message that she was an immigrant who worked hard to achieve her citizenship, that she wasn't just a pretty face, and to state what kind of a First Lady she would be and now very few will remember anything but she used Michelle Obama's words. You think the woman who posed for this is capable of being humiliated?
