MAGA Truckers Say They'll Refuse NYC Loads After Trump Verdict

You didn't read the rest of the article did you?
The judge didn't accept her statement at that time. There is a time and place for all arguments. Making them at the wrong time doesn't mean you made the argument.
In order to have a jury trial in NY you have to submit the paperwork to the court. There is no verbal way to request a jury trial in civil court because there needs to be a court record.

Sometimes I wish the forum would ban that fuck. I'm telling you - he's worse than useless. But - we need to see what the other side is thinking. So let the poor low-life keep hanging himself with his own words.

It's funny how you completely ignore the US Constitution. The legislature in a state laid out the rules for state courts. The state court then followed those rules.
Where in the US Constitution does it say that the federal government writes the rules for state courts? Anything power not granted to the federal government is reserved for the states.
The funny part is that you don't even know how centralized government works.

Judges are not allowed to rewrite the constitution. The 7A applies in all civil trials. You want to restrict it to federal courts, go thru the amending process.

You are trying to rewrite the Constitution by claiming it applies to the states. It has never applied to the states. No judge changed this interpretation. We don't need to amend the Constitution because it already applies only to federal courts. That was the original intent of all the Bill of Rights. None of them applied to the states until 1925.

Give him a break

Putin doesnt teach them much real history

No it does not you simpleton.

The law in NYS says very specifically you check the box to request a jury trial.

No law says that , you lying whore. The trump lawyer told the judge they want a jury trial and the 7th amendment says they are entitled to one. case closed.

The 7A says the defendant in a civil trial over $20 has the right to a jury trial.

The judge asked her in front of witnesses if she wanted a jury trial and she said yes!!! That settles it.

So the first amdt does not apply to the states!!!??? If a state wants to ban the bible, they can do that??? You are insane even for a tranny.

None of the 1st amendment originally applied to the states. Several states had an established religion. But, through the incorporation process rights were gradually made applicable to the states: speech: 1925; press: 1931; assembly: 1937; freedom of religion: 1940; establishment of religion: 1947.

This is basic history that you could check in 10 minutes rather than making me explain it to you. Being ignorant of constitutional history on your part does not make me insane.

Just do a search for "does the 7th amendment apply to the states?" and "incorporation process."

Some states had established religions, some had mandatory prayer, etc. Remember, state constitutions often had similar provisions as the U. S. Constitution so religion may have been protected by state law, 1st amendment rights did not apply.

Again, do your homework so others don't have to teach you basic principles.

They can't ban the Bible today because freedom of religion now restricts the states since 1940. Some state jurisdictions banned weapons (Morton Grove, Il.)

Once again you completely ignore the US Constitution.
Art III gives the courts of the US the right to only conduct certain civil trials. They are listed in Art III.
The Court of the United States mentioned in the seventh amendment is the court established by Art III.
No where does the Constitution give the federal courts or the federal government the power to control what happens in state courts. That is guaranteed to the states by the 10th amendment.
