MAGA Truckers Say They'll Refuse NYC Loads After Trump Verdict

None of the 1st amendment originally applied to the states. Several states had an established religion. But, through the incorporation process rights were gradually made applicable to the states: speech: 1925; press: 1931; assembly: 1937; freedom of religion: 1940; establishment of religion: 1947.

This is basic history that you could check in 10 minutes rather than making me explain it to you. Being ignorant of constitutional history on your part does not make me insane.

Just do a search for "does the 7th amendment apply to the states?" and "incorporation process."

For the tenth time, courts are not allowed to rewrite the constitution.!!!! They can't say some amendments apply to the states and some don't.

Once again you completely ignore the US Constitution.
Art III gives the courts of the US the right to only conduct certain civil trials. They are listed in Art III.
The Court of the United States mentioned in the seventh amendment is the court established by Art III.
No where does the Constitution give the federal courts or the federal government the power to control what happens in state courts. That is guaranteed to the states by the 10th amendment.

So now you're saying the federal supreme court cannot overrule ANY ruling by a state court!!!

Read Article III. They can't overrule the facts of a case. They can rule on questions that arise due to constitutionality or violations of federal law.

Fact of the case. Trump's lawyers were given the opportunity to request a jury trial. They failed to check the box.

For the tenth time, courts are not allowed to rewrite the constitution.!!!! They can't say some amendments apply to the states and some don't.

Then none of the rights in the Bill of Rights apply to the states per original intent. But, I bet if states starting making strict regulations of guns you would be yelling they are not "following" the Constitution when in fact they are following original intent.

The courts have been interpreting the Constitution over 200 years which is essentially rewriting the Constitution. In some cases the Constitution is vague and the Supreme Court clarifies its meaning and in other instances technology or social norms bring about changes. If we had to amend the Constitution we would have hundreds of amendments (Texas has 400+). That is one advantage to a broad, vague document compared to strict, detailed language.

However, the court has never changed the 7th amendment. It never applied to the states and still does not. So, Trump is not a "victim" of corrupt judges as he always claims.

The judge asked her in front of witnesses if she wanted a jury trial and she said yes!!! That settles it.

The only thing that settles is that you are an idiot.

https://ww2.nycourts.gov/courts/7jd/courts/city/civil/jury_demand.shtml

The party demanding a jury trial must prepare and file with the clerk a demand for a trial by jury with an affidavit stating specifically what issues of fact require such a trial and indicating that the jury demand is desired and intended in good faith.

There is a required fee to be paid at the time of filing.
Trump's lawyer didn't file with the clerk and didn't pay the fee.
Simply telling the judge you want a jury trial is not valid since no fee is paid and no paperwork is filed.

The trump lawyer told the judge they wanted a jury trial. This was in the courtroom. That settles it.

Nope. Until proper procedure is followed it isn't settled.

Once again, you try to say Trump is above the law.Everyone else that has had a jury trial filed the paperwork and paid the fee. Why is Trump exempt?

Is it because

Trump is a Rapist!!!
