no it's not good reason, Ukraine has much more in common with Russia then the EU

It's a puppet state in that Biden has been using Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia

Russia hasn't invaded Ukraine. Russia has recognized two independent Republics.

To be sure though, if the US treats Russia as if it HAS invaded Ukraine then Russia will invade Ukraine.
