Losing Our Sense of Common Decency

Sorry, you sound angry in spite of what you claim, your outburst prove you have little control!

Ahahahah, women like me, who had four children and was a practicing Catholic until I turned 40...women like me who believe in other people's freedom to make decisions for themselves, judge not, you know the scripture or does this little pagan have to remind you?
Women like me who went and marched for women's rights in the USA at one time, so that we could get equal treatment for schooling, jobs and wages and who weren't harassed by pigs like you at work who felt it was okay to degrade women and call them names when they didn't agree with them.

It was dumb to name it the war on poverty, anytime you do that, you know it isn't going to go away...Jesus said the poor will always be with us! why is that, because there is always someone who is willing to exploit people of less power, means and intelligence for greed! When is enough, enough?

You care so much for Muslim woman, but let me ask, what have you done to help their cause, I recently attended a fund raiser to buy books for a girls' school in Afghanistan. I walk the walk. You, on the other hand like Muslims when it is convenient, talking about women's rights and hate then when it isn't convenient which is most of the time!

I hate capitalism and the free market, because the free market is a misnomer! It should be a fair market where it isn't manipulated by greed! My visions hasn't failed, because it has never been tried and capitalism is the system that is failing in its present form.

Capitalism is hardly failing. The societies that HAVE failed in the past are the ones that pretend they can create some sort of utopia. Where everyone works for the common good and thus everyone is taken care of. The problems with that system lie in the fact that you will STILL have people (like in Capitalism) that will try to take advantage of others. That is the burden of a free society.... Unless all of our choices are made for us and we live as slaves... there will be those free to choose to try to game the system.

That said, I agree that Ditzie is a douch bag.

Most empires failed from globalization, overreaching, losing their identity, allowing their supply chains to depend on enemy populations etc.

Most failed due to IMPERIALISM... not globalization. That imperialism did indeed cause a loss of identity and it did end up depending on 'conquered' peoples for supplies.

Good christ, you and Asshatzombie need to stop getting angry at women and blaming them for your social failures.

If women won’t go out with you, seek anger management therapy or try a Filipino mail-order bride website, you misogynist tool! Good luck!

While I agree with the above, coming from a stalker like you it kind of loses its weight.

No it is not, they are quite different

They are more similar than different. And the destructive aspects are the same as you already mentioned.

Globalization has more of a brainwash side to it as attempts to get people to believe that outsourcing their supply chains and destroying their standard of living is a good idea.

yeah... the Saints brought their level of play WAY down. That should have been a blow out.

You need to stay away from football because you embarrass yourself talking about it. The Saints had to RAISE their level of play to stick with the 2010-2011 Super Bowl Champions San Francisco 49ers.

You really do put the "wacko" in cawacko...

Radicals were elected. That's why we are seeing such economic and political turmoil.

Of course that is utter horseshit and you know it...

The reason we have the economic and political turmoil we have, is due solely to policies implemented during the past 8 years of REPUBLICAN RULE.

You can make up all the Bullshit and nonsense you like, but the bottom line remains that 8 years of Republican "pro-business" policies have cost us dearly.

While I do agree that they share some similarities, the difference lies in the fact that Imperialism involved military presence in lands 'conquered' in order to maintain control. The Empires then became over stretched to the point that they collapsed in on themselves.

Globalization involves the collaboration amongst the countries of the world to produce goods and services in the most efficient manner possible. I disagree that globalization means a destruction in living standards. It may mean that SOME people have to retrain for new careers as they are no longer the most cost effective means of production. But take a look at the standards of living in China/India/Indonesia etc... while certainly not close to being on par with the US, they have vastly expanded their middle classes (and to an extent upper classes).

The US is also capable of reverting back to higher levels of manufacturing should we need to do so. We have the resources here, we are simply choosing to outsource. It keeps the cost of goods down so that they are more affordable for the lower and middle class to buy.

While the Reps certainly played a large part, you are incorrect in stating it occurred during the past 8 years. I know this is simply the parrot point for the left in their vain attempts to blame it all on Bush and the Reps.... but you are 100% wrong.

The single biggest reason we experienced the financial turmoil and subsequent recession was the repealing of Glass Steagall. That was a 90-2 (hence about as bipartisan as you can get) vote in the Senate.... and signed by President Clinton.

You know what .. you can come down here in my district and ask my Tea Party Backed candidate how racially charged his campaign is ..as a matter of fact here is a short speech:

He is leading big time in a Congressional District that has been dominated by Democrats for years .....

His supporters are a mixed bag of Whites, Blacks, Browns and Yellows ....
