I don't think this guy belongs on your board Damo. I'm not going to look through pages of this thread for you, but it wasn't that many posts ago. He said he'd violently go after anyone who passed the legislation and anyone who supports it, and he said that I am one of the targets for supporting it.

thats exactly what I said. I also said that IF it passes and the courts fail to knock it down, then i'd come after supporters, but if it comes to that point, I'm only going to be one of millions the gov will have to worry about.

No, it won't.

Ya can't reduce the number of guns without a starting place.

Start by enforcing the laws already on the books.

If you have a gun and its unregistared it can be confiscated at any point of contact with the athorities.

That's funny, because the only state with any kind of registration law is New York. Though there are a couple that have a requirement for machine guns and other odd weapons, but that requirement only states that the owner must comply with federal laws concerning these wepons.

That read I must say this: Every gun that I have bought in the last 20 years has been registered with the government. Every one. It's the law. The only way to find unregistered guns in this country is to find those bought pre-registration days or those on the black market.

Actually, only a record of the purchase is kept by the federally licensed gun dealer. The feds can get access to these records, but this is not a "registration."
