Based on my own observations I’d say there are more Never Trumpers that have become [albeit bregrudging] Trump supporters than the other way around. That’s also true in my real life circle.

I don't recall reading reports of any substantial shift in public sentiment on Trump one way or the other.

President Bush (elder) had popularity @90%+ after his Gulf War *. Did NYC give Schwarzkopf a ticker tape parade?
