Great words. She'd make a great President, and I hope the citizens of Wyoming see fit to keep her in Congress.

To paraphrase her at one point, she says to the effect that, 'questioning the validity of an election destroys free nations,' I'd ask her Which ones would those be?

Uganda
Somalia

So, questioning their elections made them into dictatorships hum? I'd say they and other nations like Venezuela, Nicaragua, Mexico under PRI, to name a few, all had their elections questioned continuously and it was an in place dictatorship that kept them from having fair and open elections. Liz Cheney has it backwards. Trump questioning an election isn't the threat. The threat is having questionable practices during an election. If you eliminate questionable practices, you eliminate people questioning the election.

She's an idiot.

T

She's an idiot.

There are only questionable practices in an election when you lose.

Wrong. If there are questionable practices in an election, then there are questionable practices in an election. Those being voted on are hardly the only ones that can question the validity of an election.

There are only questionable practices when you lose, and want to retain power in any manner you can, regardless of our laws and constitution.

She's an idiot.

She wasn't taking about Cuba.

She literally said she was talking about free nations

When Russia had it's first free and fair election in 1917, the Bolsheviks lost decisively and decided they didn't like the result. So they forcibly disbanded the Constituent Assembly, Russia's first truly democratic legislature.

You are wrong...

A good portion of the US population questions the use of:

All mail-in balloting
Same day voter registration
Automatic voter registration upon getting a driver's license
Registering 16 and 17-year-olds to vote and then saying they can't until they're 18
Using ballot drop boxes
No voter ID requirements
No purging of voter rolls
Not allowing poll watchers free access to observe the process

Those are all questionable practices, and there are more. I'll say it again: If questionable practices are used in an election, then the election is questionable. If you want elections to not be questioned, eliminate questionable practices to the greatest extent possible.

Only Trump liars question the election.

Just exactly what I mean, all made up bullshit to retain power.

No, the Bolsheviks held a violent revolution and installed a dictatorship. Same in Cuba. Voting in places like Venezuela, Nicaragua, or Mexico have long had questionable practices in place meant to keep the establishment / dictatorship in power. Those are the valid examples. A free nation won't be for long if its election process is riddled with questionable practices and means.

Our practices only become questionable after trump loses an election.
