like flying the nazi flag

STY, you are the deluded one.

The union won. Those who fought against it were traitors. And while the war was fought for many reasons, certainly slavery was one of them and slaves were freed as a result.

The southern states who left the union and declared war against it were traitors.

I don't know what warped view of history you have that you think it's good or justified or non-traitorous what the south did.

You may want to move to another country; you are NOT a good citizen of this one.
you are simply wrong. a product of public education. very sad.

Black people were freed.

why do you pretend that is not true?

You really do need to shut the fuck up occasionally and read a book.

The Jim Crow laws were state and local laws in the United States enacted between 1876 and 1965. They mandated de jure racial segregation in all public facilities in Southern states of the former Confederacy, with, starting in 1890, a "separate but equal" status for African Americans. The separation in practice led to conditions for African Americans that tended to be inferior to those provided for white Americans, systematizing a number of economic, educational and social disadvantages. De jure segregation mainly applied to the Southern United States. Northern segregation was generally de facto, with patterns of segregation in housing enforced by covenants, bank lending practices, and job discrimination, including discriminatory union practices for decades.

Some examples of Jim Crow laws are the segregation of public schools, public places, and public transportation, and the segregation of restrooms, restaurants, and drinking fountains for whites and blacks. The U.S. military was also segregated.
These Jim Crow Laws followed the 1800–1866 Black Codes, which had previously restricted the civil rights and civil liberties of African Americans with no pretense of equality. State-sponsored school segregation was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of the United States in 1954 in Brown v. Board of Education. Generally, the remaining Jim Crow laws were overruled by the Civil Rights Act of 1964[SUP][1][/SUP] and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Now why is it blacks are "fooled" like you claim at such high rates?
They're not. Just look at the Germans, Irish, Italians, Slavs, Poles, etc. when they were considered minorities and still trying to become part of the the mainstream. They all block voted Democratic.

Causes of secession

Main articles: Origins of the American Civil War, Timeline of events leading to the American Civil War, and History of the United States

The causes of the Civil War were complex and have been controversial since the war began. The issue has been further complicated by historical revisionists, who have tried to offer a variety of reasons for the war.[9] Slavery was the central source of escalating political tension in the 1850s. The Republican Party was determined to prevent any spread of slavery, and many Southern leaders had threatened secession if the Republican candidate, Lincoln, won the 1860 election. After Lincoln had won without carrying a single Southern state, many Southern whites felt that disunion had become their only option, because they felt as if they were losing representation, which hampered their ability to promote pro-slavery acts and policies.[10]
