An invasion by definition means the landing of armed forces by land, sea or air. An exclusion zone is not an invasion, they are more properly termed sorties or raids.

I really can't believe you're persisting w/ this. "Invading airspace" isn't "an invasion" in military terms, in political terms, or in the terms that I would guess 99% of the public associates with the word. It's incredibly disingenuous - the height of intellectual dishonesty.

No one after this is going to say "we invaded Libya."

And when Al Qaeda flew planes into our buildings, I didn't consider that to be an "invasion."

People know what is meant by "invasion" in military terms, Yurt. Like I said, you're not fooling anyone. You're trying to put Iraq & Libya on the same playing field to prove a point, and any sane, intelligent person knows they are not. We invaded Iraq - like, really invaded....
