For the last time the makes impeachment charges and the Senate decides if those charges are with or without merit. Case in point. Abuse of office. The Senate did not agree that Trump abused his office. Therefore he was acquitted. The closest thing we can compare it to as a grand jury indictment and a jury acquittal. Immpeachment without a conviction in the Senate isn't a big deal. Small potatoes. :rolleyes:
