Less Republicans believe in Evolution today than in 2009

My personal belief is evolution within each species, but.I think there's a big leap between species that cannot be accounted for. DNA doesn't evolve that easily.

Those are the basic three categories, inside which you will find myriad different views. I would call none of these theories though. They are not supported by evidence.

Well good point about the theories, I keep mixing my words between the scientific meaning and the lay meaning.

I suspect that it is a mix. Some species have crossed and some have evolved directly.

I personally believe that God created the natural world, holistically, that includes all natural processes including evolution and any others. The intent was to create what is and what has been and what will be. Time is simply one of those natural processes so its a part of what was created.

To me that is an example of one of the possible theories that falls under the title "intelligent design".

If humanity could ever study the natural world enough to get a complete picture of how it works, it seems that would be obvious, but it seems unlikely that humanity will ever reach that goal.

Which falls under the third example I gave as the basics.

A new Pew Poll shows that only 43% of Republicans believe humans evolved as compared to 54% in 2009. Lack of education and religiosity tend to be the major reasons why.

Or maybe it's all those atheist ex-Democrats that have since abandoned your beloved Democrat Party.

Someone is confused. A few points to help... Now is later than 2009. 43% < 54%. And atheist are more likely to accept evolution.

No worries, pmp has trouble with concepts of order, math and understanding what atheists believe too.

Apparently it is you who are confused:

A USA TODAY analysis of state voter registration statistics shows registered Democrats declined in 25 of the 28 states that register voters by party.

Why don't you belittle women now? 65% of men believe in evolution... only 55% of women do.

The GOP...going backwards since 1980!

So with 45% of women stating they don't believe in evolution (or aren't sure)... does that by your standards mean you think women are more backwards than the GOP?

Btw, as I figured, you left out the fact that Republicans declined in 21 of those states. None of this necessarily means a change of affiliation and could just be due to voter turnover.
I linked it, therefore left nothing out. But since you brought it up, 25>21. Can you follow that?
