Congressional committees releasing tax returns in violation of federal law is not a "talking point".......it ranks more along the lines of Watergate......

I did look at Biden's tax returns and public disclosure but couldn't find any evidence of "Chinese money."

Just curious, do you run credit checks on your prospective employees?

Businesses, landlords, credit card companies, auto dealerships etc. do, and these reports can show trouble with the IRS.

For those who'll be able to access company funds, absolutely. It's a standard part of any background check.

Reviewing someone's tax returns is not...

We've never encountered that, but It would certainly be a concern. And certainly, again, if the person would be in a position to access company funds (supply chain, company credit cards, etc) it could be a barrier to employment...
 
Releasing taxes has been done by every presidential candidate for the last 50 years. The point is to see if they have financial entanglements that might sway them to make decisions for financial reasons rather than America's best interests. No candidate ever had entanglements like Trump. He is exactly why we have politicians do it. The fact that he lied about releasing them and what was in them for 6 years should even tell rightys something. Trump has something to hide. He has Russian connections and has had for decades. When Bannon left the Whitehouse he was asked what Trump should fear the most. He replied "money-laundering". I know, Trumpys do not care. But the American people do.
 
Once in office, Trump put someone in the IRS top spot who would allow him to continue the lie about audits. Trump also used the IRS to punish people on the left. That is against the law for Trump. Rettig was installed so Trump could control the IRS to hide his taxes and punish others. That is against the law. Just another in the long list of Trump infractions and how he corrupted the government.
