Kyle Rittenhouse

That said, what Binger was doing was trying to draw a line for the jury between someone who buys an offensive weapon (AR-15) and seeks trouble versus buying a defensive weapon (sidearm) as an "EMT".

Not a very good line, IMO, but it might work for non-military jurors.....and let's face it, the vast majority of Americans aren't veterans.
So you think the only points scored by the prosecution ( now a moot point) was from not knowing his own state's law and that on what would have been a misdemeanor? Wow.

I'm not a fucking lawyer and have no idea about the laws of Wisconsin.

That said, I could see the line he was trying to draw. Why do you have a problem with it?

Did they score any more points for the defense? As bungling as they've been it might have been better if they had forgone their closing arguments.

Tough call. Lots of balls in the air. Still, I think Kyle is facing a 10-15 year sentence. Are you guessing full acquittal?

I'd lean more to f.a. than 10 - 15. I don't know what reduced charges the jury can consider. 10 - 15 for what? I just don't see that. He did what any reasonable person would do under the circumstances.

I don't but if my tax money was paying the D.A.'s office I'd have a big problem with my D.A., or asst. D.A. not knowing WI law . Did the prosecution make any, as in one, compelling argument for their "case"? Hell even the coroner , a state witness, helped the defense when he said there were powder burns on Angry Jew's left hand.

We'll see. Even though we'll probably have a verdict by the end of the week, sentencing may not come until either early December or next year.

There'll be appeals for any convictions, but I think most people who've been watching will have a sense justice was done when it's all over regardless of the outcome.

Obviously there are hot headed idiots ready to run out into the streets to shoot each other down. I plan to stay away from those idiots. Like most rural citizens, I'm prepared to defend myself against criminals, terrorists or any other threats but never go looking for trouble.

Shouldn't you be taking that up with your city or state, not people living in the other 49 states...and a bunch of foreign wannabes?

Who's the "Angry Jew"? Did religion factor into this or do you come pre-biased?

Just saying, " if my tax money was paying the D.A.'s office I'd have a big problem". I don't care.
Who's the "Angry Jew"?
Joseph Rosenbaum.
Did religion factor into this or do you come pre-biased?
Rifle Kid, Skateboard Dude, Angry Jew. I couldn't think of a nickname for Grosskreutz. Slow Draw McGraw?

Exactly. I watch it with passing interesting for academic "statistical analysis", but the outcome has no direct impact on my state, my county or my family.

"Hero" because only heros run into a situation getting themselves shot? He's an actual medic too. What about fatboy Kyle? What's his nickname? Would his name change if he goes away for 10-15? Would you care? If so, why?

How about STUPID ? Stupid people do too. Or deranged mental cases like Angry Jew was.
He's an actual medic too.
Not a very good one apparently. Rifle Kid needed medical attention due to a cut on his forehead. Medics don't initiate medical attention by lowering their pistol at the wound.

Rifle Kid

Don't know.
Would you care?
No.

I care about the justice system working. Just the fact that this went to trial shows that it doesn't, in Wisconsin anyway.
It didn't work in the O.J. case. That was disturbing.

That works too. Your hatred of Jews, TBH, was unexpected but not uncommon for those who support the white supremacist militias.

Fatboy looked tired today. I bet he isn't getting much sleep right now. The cases of his militia are still pending. I wonder if the Feds are involved there?

Agreed on the Justice system. Agreed on OJ because it proves you can buy your way out of a crime if you have enough money.

Kyle would be in prison now if he didn't have millions of dollars backing his legal team. I doubt Dominic or the others have that much backing.
Won't they be pissed if they get more time than Kyle? :rofl2:

What makes you think I hate Jews?
Fatboy looked tired today. I bet he isn't getting much sleep right now.
I wouldn't either.
The cases of his militia are still pending.
Whose militia? Rifle Kid's? He wasn't in one. Unless you consider a police cadet program or lifeguards militias.
Kyle would be in prison now if he didn't have millions of dollars backing his legal team.
He wouldn't have millions of dollars backing his legal team if this wasn't a complete travesty of justice bringing him to trial for defending himself.
I doubt Dominic or the others have that much backing.

Big difference. Those guys were chasing Black Dude, not the other way around as in Kenosha. (Does calling a black dude Black Dude make me racist or indicate I hate black dudes?)

As bungling as they've been it might have been better if they had forgone their closing arguments.
And I was just being facetious here. Turns out Binger fucked up his closing too.

WHOA: Rittenhouse Prosecutor Thomas Binger Aims AR-15 at People in Courtroom, Finger on the Trigger
Binger is too stupid and/or ignorant to be anywhere around firearms, and judging by his questionable (at best) courtroom antics, he probably shouldn’t be allowed to practice law, either.

I'm beginning to think the D.A. put the most incompetent lawyer on his staff to try this case knowing full well it never should have gone to trial.
