You assume too much. You should ask more and assume less.

Kyle is many things to many people, but his fate is in the hands of the court at the moment. Same for those who enabled him to be there that night.

That said, Kyle doesn't fit the definition of terrorist. He's a white supremacist vigilante. Lower than average IQ which is average for those guys.
