Krugmans observations are correct and in case it has excaped your notice California now has not only a Democrat as chief executive but they also have a super majority in the State legislature.

Now I would agree that as a model for the whole nation Krugman's analysis doesn't apply. Particularly in the southern states and western states (with the exceptions of Florida and Texas). In the North East, Great Lakes region and the Pacific North West (which with California represent a majority of the population) are all ready headed down the same path that Krugman has described. Only the fortuitous 2010 midterm election has allowed Republicans to hold onto the house and reap the benefits of controlling districting after the 2010 census but that's just a temporary measure as a radicalized GOP continues to turn off more and more segments of the population. Particularly in urban areas (and that's where the people live!). So I'd say Krugmans analysis is spot on.
 
Interesting column. I am not a Brown fan but am hopeful he can turn things around there. Point of interest - a lot of lefties went Superfreak on Krugman for this column in my twitter feed. A lot of random capitalization was employed. They were pissed because they say Krugman employed the great man theory of the recent economic history in California and that this was actually a people's movement. I think that asking Krugman to convey a historic analysis in a 750 word piece is silly, but when people go Superfreak I just roll my eyes and don't bother interrupting them.

Yeah the dumb twat claims to have me on IA too, but we both know she doesn't. Dumb feminazis like her live to get her tampon string lit on fire by some perceived slight at the hands of men.

She and broads like her are the ultimate paradox. They bitch about real men like us, yet whine that the only guys thy date are metrosexual pussies.

The wife and I met another couple on a European river cruise a while back, they were from LA. It's customary to sit down with other couples during meals, and we were having a nice conversation. A little short guy and his taller wife, who I thought was a hoot. Some current event was mentioned, and he took a lib tard view, and I didn't take any view at all, just mentioned that I was a conservative. The guy refuses to talk to me for the remainder of the voyage.

I kept talking to his wife though. That really pissed him off that we got along.

I have a couple of lib friends, but not many. They are intolerant, low information assholes as a whole

I have never seen a picture nor do I want to. I hear Alias has one though, but who knows if that is true or not.
