Bullshit. The congress critters were led to safety long before that single shot was fired, as were many of the mob inside already.

I'd be in prison if I shot an unarmed intruder coming through my window.

You would not, and you know it. The law doesn't expect you to check for weapons if someone invades your home. You merely have to feel that you are in danger, which most of us would agree that you would be if someone broke in and climbed through your window.

Only one round was fired that day. That is no lie.

Yes, it is. You would be well advised to research a bit before spouting off. Retrieved just now via Google AI:

He most certainly did Overreact....there was no reason to kill her... Not a single congress person was in jeopardy.... I'm great.. Been watching the paralympics...you should do the same...

Try going on a plane with it. They will give you a simple answer.

Try walking around with it on a subway in NYC...and you will get your answer.

You can't even take a pocket knife into a courthouse. My late husband had to give his to the security officers when we went to the courthouse for something or the other. They gave it back when he was done.

Your projection is psychobabble. I have made my thoughts about when to use a firearm well known. Don't tell me what I think.

Yes, you've made it clear that shooting the neighbor's unarmed cat was righteous because it was in your yard.

But somehow you think that you'd be arrested and convicted if you shot someone coming through a broken window in your house.
