Judge upholds North Carolina's voter ID law

Nope, if you vote by mail, it has your name and address which are checked against voter registration records.

If you vote in person ID is required but it doesn't have to be a special ID issued by the state with a picture. If you don't have ID you can vote a challenged ballot.

When you register to vote, you do have to have proof of who you are.

You responses indicate to me that you feel it is okay to block legal voters in order to solve a problem that is non existent.

Voter turnout is high because people feel strongly about Presidential elections.

Does the check prove the one living at that address is the one that sent it. Checking the name and address only verifies name and address. It doesn't verify that the person that filled it out was the one living at that address.

Expecting someone to prove they are who they say they are on election day isn't a violation of their rights.

Not afraid, we just understand that it is like a poll tax. It keeps voters from voting, like the 107 year old woman who danced with the Obama's.

You've been told that it is by your handlers and like a good little puppet, you agreed when they yanked your strings.

Well how many would have to vote for you to think it is a problem? Even if one votes shouldn't we stop it? Having an ID is a pretty ubiquitous thing in our society yet the left makes it seem like the most difficult thing in the world. And not only does your side think it is monumentally difficult; apparently it is only difficult for members of the democrat party. Don't you find that odd?

Why do you think only your party has such a problem obtaining ID?

If, as Rana claimed, the statement of "I never claimed illegals haven't voted" is true, that means Rana believes illegals have voted. Rana also has said that voter fraud is a non-existent. I don't know about you but I think ONE illegal voting is too much. Apparently Rana doesn't. Rana seems willing to accept a certain number.

Interesting. So we don't check ID or citizenship and you want me to prove that non citizens are voting?

Do you see a flaw in your logic?

Your response tells me you aren't really serious about non citizens not voting.

Additionally you haven't explained why voter turnout is up in the face of these voter ID laws

Rana believes that illegals have voted yet says there isn't a voter fraud problem. Tells me Rana is willing to accept a certain amount of them doing so.

I have a solution. Have states require the same ID to get social welfare as they do to vote. Bet no one getting social welfare would say a damn thing about having to show it then.

How does it stop voting?

My state, based on the implementation of voter ID laws, identified approximately 170,000 that didn't have an ID that complied with the law. They offered a ride AND a free ID. 25 accepted. Tells me their lazy asses stopped them from voting.

Evince says it doesn't exist. Rana I believe considers Ids a solution where there is no problem. Which is to say it doesn't happen enough to change outcomes.
