Your insistence that the GOP is uniquely "wrong" in its treatment of Garland is incorrect. Republicans sat and watched Dems spew lies about Bork and Thomas, and then the racist crusade against Estrada (not that the effort against Thomas wasn't, as well). For that matter, following the Garland episode, Dems got back on track with the Kavanaugh nonsense.
