Commissioner Carr’s motivation did not involve a few months of Kimmel’s career.
He was warning him because it is his responsibility to do so.
I don’t believe Kimmel referenced the political persuasion of the murderer again.
I did not watch during those 22 years. I saw what he said about the political leaning of the murderer and that was a lie.
He has been warned that it was not in the public interest to lie about this.

The two major companies that broadcast his show are both “for profit” companies.
