Kimmel shed even more viewers in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54, with Thursday’s episode hemorrhaging 73% of viewers from the critical category.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” pulled in 1.7 million viewers among the key demo for Tuesday’s return but plummeted to 465,000 only 48 hours later.

The FCC rule on the "public interest" does not involve First Amendment consideration. The FCC has an exception to the First Amendment to control the content of the airwaves "in the public interest.". Lying to the public is not in the public interest.

This isn't surprising. In MAGATLand, women are supposed to be child-bearing, aytractive, silent arm candy. Disciplined by having a huge ratings night, and he got paid for the days off. I didn't even really know who he was before this, now most Americans know him and that he has a show. That helps him a lot.
