Yeah, I said a few weeks...This is even a faster drop than I predicted.
Kimmel is still alive and worth $25 million. On Thursday, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” averaged 2.3 million total viewers — a staggering 64% drop from the 6.5 million who tuned in for Tuesday’s much-hyped return.
Kimmel shed even more viewers in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54, with Thursday’s episode hemorrhaging 73% of viewers from the critical category.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” pulled in 1.7 million viewers among the key demo for Tuesday’s return but plummeted to 465,000 only 48 hours later.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” also lost significant viewers in the younger demographic of adults aged 18-49, managing 1.2 million on Tuesday but quickly losing 73% to settle for only 334,000 on Thursday.

Kirk is still dead and is not.
Nope, I sure said nothing about respect. Obviously, Kirk had some disrespect, didn’t he? Me included.Apparently you think money buys respect. It's no wonder you get none.
I thought a monthYeah, I said a few weeks...
What part of Commissioner Carr's warning, "in the public interest" is confusing you?2.3 million is still double what he had before Carr pulled his best "Imma Gansta" impression on that podcast.
Kimmel's show frequently has Democrat politicians but rarely has Republican politicians it is basically an in kind political contribution for Democrats. What part of Commissioner Carr's warning, "in the public interest" is confusing you?
He warned Kimmel that his lie was not "in the public interest." That's his responsibility as a FCC Commissioner.
You MAGA morons will never understand. It took the German MGGA morons a while back in the mid-20th century to understand, also. The teaching of that lesson is a hard one. What part of Commissioner Carr's warning, "in the public interest" is confusing you?
He warned Kimmel that his lie was not "in the public interest." That's his responsibility as a FCC Commissioner.

Indeed, I believe that it was posted that there were 99% Democratic or left leaning politicians or guests and 1% Republican or right leaning guests on his show.Kimmel's show frequently has Democrat politicians but rarely has Republican politicians it is basically an in kind political contribution for Democrats.
Yep he should be force to give Republicans equal time.Indeed, I believe that it was posted that there were 99% Democratic or left leaning politicians or guests and 1% Republican or right leaning guests on his show.
Frankie thinks it Depends.Of course it Depends.
Nothing is "confusing" me. Mr. "We can do dis da hard way, or da easy way" Carr was pulling a tough guy impression and saying the quiet part out loud...What part of Commissioner Carr's warning, "in the public interest" is confusing you?

Well what Kimmel did was a violation of FCC rules so Carr was giving ABC a reminder to rein him in. NOTHING wrong with that.Nothing is "confusing" me. Mr. "We can do dis da hard way, or da easy way" Carr was pulling a tough guy impression and saying the quiet part out loud...
What I am saying, is if he did it like Ds do, with plausible deniability, Kimmel wouldn't have more than doubled his viewership giving his show new life for a few more months.
The increase in viewership is short term. It would have happened without the perfectly appropriate warning.Nothing is "confusing" me. Mr. "We can do dis da hard way, or da easy way" Carr was pulling a tough guy impression and saying the quiet part out loud...

Indeed, I have posted this numerous times.Well what Kimmel did was a violation of FCC rules so Carr was giving ABC a reminder to rein him in. NOTHING wrong with that.
His contract is up in January if the News report I saw is correct. I doubt he well get a new contract. Late night is dying. I believe if they had made an effort to make fun of both sides and tried to be funny like Carson and Leno they would have a larger audience. The increase in viewership is short term. It would have happened without the perfectly appropriate warning.
Nothing has changed to make Kimmel a late night success. He is not funny as proven by his previous ratings. He is a financial liability who, I believe, will soon be dropped again from his two main carriers.
Plausible deniability is passe.
And if he did it like someone in government rather than like someone in "Sanitation" who just witnessed 'dis radio wut fell off da truck' it may have still have been going, instead he gave them a route to "First Amendment" by addressing it in public with a threat...Well what Kimmel did was a violation of FCC rules so Carr was giving ABC a reminder to rein him in. NOTHING wrong with that.
