This current iteration of Russia bears no resemblance and shares no history with the USSR or Tsarist Russia.

Russia has no claim to Crimea...it belongs to Ukraine and has belonged to Ukraine this entire time, going back at least 100 years.
Russia at no point in the last 100+ years has directly controlled Crimea, even when Ukraine was under Soviet -not Russian- control.

Because all I can find in my research is that the USSR occupied Ukraine in 1919 and then annexed it in 1921 before losing it in 1945 when it became a member of the UN as an independent country.
So at what point over the last 100+ years has Crimea ever been "Russian"?
The facts are that Ukraine and Belarus are the only USSR states that signed the UN charter as sovereign countries.
When they signed that charter, Crimea was a part of Ukraine, not Russia.
Idiot, Ukraine was also a founding member of the UN along with 49 other countries, and signed the UN charter as a sovereign nation.
So when the USSR joined the UN, it did so WITHOUT Ukraine and Belarus.
You're too fucking lazy to do the most basic research here, so you make pointless errors that you wouldn't be making if you knew what you were talking about, but you don't.

Crimea has never been a part of Russia, and if it was, then you should be able to tell me when it was and when it ceased being a part of Russia.
I don't believe you'll be able to do that for two reasons:
1. There simply won't be any instance when Crimea was Russian and then ceased to be

Nonsense, Crimea was always Russian, Russian when Kruschev illegally transferred it . It's Russian again.
Ukraine was signed to the UN as part of the USSR, not as a discrete state. It joined as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic - part of the USSR, all of which fell under Russian authority.
You are attempting to invent a status for Ukraine which did not exist at the time.

So when Ukraine joined the UN, they did so as the Soviet Socialist Republic of Ukraine, not Russia.

You're the one who said "Crimea has always been Russian" but can't prove that and in fact, got a nice map showing that Russia expanded into Ukraine, which means it was never "always Russian".

If it wasn't Russian then Kruschev couldn't have signed it over.
