Jackson, Biden's Supreme Court pick, refuses to define the word 'woman'

The Left seem to suffer from mass amnesia on these occasions, they imagine they proceed with dignity and decorum it's truly crazy.
they do it ALL THE TIME - situational amnesia

Today Biden was saying "we didn't use sanctions on Russia as a deterrent"
then FOX played various clips of him, Sullivan , and Harris saying just that

You've got it backwards, give ME strength. This is just one of many articles I read about Blackburn's idiocy. It's beyond me that you can defend this fool.

"Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn's final opening remarks Monday revealed the scope of what Jackson's up against. Blackburn's inaccurate and blatantly racist attempts to patronize Jackson while twisting her sterling record into a scare narrative of GOP bogeymen -- critical race theory, the 1619 Project and controversies over transgender athletes and women's sports -- were staggering yet unsurprising."

Furthermore, Blackburn is so staggeringly stupid she doesn't know the Constitution from the Declaration of Independence.

"On Wednesday evening, the senator tweeted: "The Constitution grants us rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—not abortions."

The problem, as critics quickly informed Blackburn, is that the iconic line she was referencing doesn't appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution. It's actually from the Declaration of Independence, and something most American children learn in elementary school."

Thanks for admitting that Republicans had zero dignity & decorum on this one.

No thanks for you deliberately twisting my words.

Now you're pleading dignity and decorum after the spectacle of Blasey Ford appearing at the Kavanaugh hearings making unsubstantiated accusations, collecting millions from a GoFundMe and then waltzing off into the sunset never to be seen again.

Many people are fuming over Lia Thomas, it's not just confined to RWNJs as you put it. The fact that you can't see that is sad but there you have it.

People fuming have nothing to do with a Supreme Court nomination. She answered the loaded questions the same way Amy Coney Barrett answered them. You can't expect her to give a personal opinion on an issue that may come before the court, and that's how all candidates responded when certain issues were brought up.

Personally I couldn't care less about Lia Thomas but if it means that much to you, have at it. There's always a possibility that someone could sue Thomas and/or the school for letting her compete, just like those nut jobs who sued over the gay wedding cake... a case that went all the way to SCOTUS.

I mean, he was clearly doing that on purpose. This was "payback" for the Kavanaugh hearings.

It's embarrassing that this guy is one of the leaders of the free world.

Yep. I recall hearing more than one GOP Senator mentioning the Kavanaugh hearing, as if Jackson had something to do with it personally.

So Brown deserves it?

It's probably the only time she's ever had her worldview questioned, why should she be given an easy time?

Did you think that when Barrett's worldview was questioned after her religious beliefs came to light?

I don't think any SCOTUS candidate should get an easy time but the questions should be fair and relevant.

Not just about Thomas, it's about the whole issue of a tiny extremely vocal minority wielding such power to destroy lives, as in the case of Father Ted writer Graham Linehan.

Asking for the definition of a woman is fair and relevant, especially considering all the cases that are likely to be heard in future regarding gender politics.

Asking dumb questions is annoying.

Yes I agree, why do you keep doing it?

I disagree. If she gives an answer one side or the other doesn't like, it'll be held against her if it comes up in future cases. For example, when Barrett has to rule on an abortion case somebody will bring up her own religious beliefs to either praise or criticize her, the law be damned.

Judge Jackson Brown is brilliant and understands the role of a Supreme Court Justice. Even better all those white men couldn’t lay a finger on her.

They scored 0 points.

I might like her better than RBG!

Long live Notorious KJB!

She could easily have given the biological definition of a woman and then added that the issue is not so clear cut when it comes to gender issues. Sadly too many pander to the trans lobby, their power needs to be severely limited.

.
Trans campaigners are some of the most despicable people ever. The bastards did their utmost to destroy Graham Linehan, writer of Father Ted.

They just destroyed me': Father Ted creator Graham Linehan breaks down in tears on BBC'S Nolan Live as he claims trans campaigners have 'cost him his family and his marriage'

Bafta-winning writer Graham Linehan, whose credits include The IT Crowd, gave a rare interview to a late night BBC talk show in which he said his forthright views have seen his career pulled apart.

'They took everything from me,' the 53-year-old wept as he spoke to 5 Live's Stephen Nolan. 'They took my family.'

'Before this, all I was doing was writing comedy and playing board games and being silly on the internet.

'And then I just said, "No, hang on a sec, stop calling these women TERFs, stop sending them abuse. Let them speak" - and for that they just destroyed me.'

He sounds like a real prince. Why in god's name would anybody put so much energy into hating such a tiny minority? They are somewhere between 0.5-0.7% of the US population.

On 27 June 2020, Linehan's Twitter account was permanently suspended following what Twitter called "repeated violations of our rules against hateful conduct and platform manipulation".[SUP][19][/SUP] In December 2020, Linehan evaded the suspension with an account posing as a trans man, which he used to call Colm O'Gorman "a traitor to women, gay people and yourself" for signing an open letter published by the Transgender Equality Network of Ireland;[SUP][43][/SUP] the account was banned but Linehan claimed to have created another.[SUP][44][/SUP]

In February 2021, Linehan created a fake account on the lesbian dating app Her and publicly posted screenshots of non-binary people and trans women using the app. Her clarified that transgender women are welcome on the app.[SUP][45]

In 2021, Linehan said that he and Serafinowicz had separated following financial problems caused by his activism against the transgender community.[SUP][51][/SUP][SUP][16][/SUP][/SUP]
