People fuming have nothing to do with a Supreme Court nomination. She answered the loaded questions the same way Amy Coney Barrett answered them. You can't expect her to give a personal opinion on an issue that may come before the court, and that's how all candidates responded when certain issues were brought up.

Personally I couldn't care less about Lia Thomas but if it means that much to you, have at it. There's always a possibility that someone could sue Thomas and/or the school for letting her compete, just like those nut jobs who sued over the gay wedding cake... a case that went all the way to SCOTUS.

Did you think that when Barrett's worldview was questioned after her religious beliefs came to light?

I don't think any SCOTUS candidate should get an easy time but the questions should be fair and relevant.

Not just about Thomas, it's about the whole issue of a tiny extremely vocal minority wielding such power to destroy lives, as in the case of Father Ted writer Graham Linehan.

Asking for the definition of a woman is fair and relevant, especially considering all the cases that are likely to be heard in future regarding gender politics.

I disagree. If she gives an answer one side or the other doesn't like, it'll be held against her if it comes up in future cases. For example, when Barrett has to rule on an abortion case somebody will bring up her own religious beliefs to either praise or criticize her, the law be damned.
 
Judge Jackson Brown is brilliant and understands the role of a Supreme Court Justice. Even better all those white men couldn’t lay a finger on her.

She could easily have given the biological definition of a woman and then added that the issue is not so clear cut when it comes to gender issues. Sadly too many pander to the trans lobby, their power needs to be severely limited.
