It's gonna be great! The "you got played" saga starring Trump!

that is over ten years..did you have a problem with Obama adding $10 trillion over 8 years?

That is CBO scoring -as mentioned "static" which does not take into consideration GDP growth ( dynamic scoring)
Trade deficits will have to increase to support this tax plan, another broken promise of Trump’s

"All you really care about is bashing Trump" Noise

You are correct. So kind of him to hand us the battle axes.

Showing you he was the ultimate liar and conman and who said whatever the fuck he needed to with total indifference
to any reasonable expectation for results is as substantive as it is ad hom.

Am I guilty of not wanting everything he lied about? Fuck yes. I want world class infrastructure all over the US same as I want
a gold nugget shitting unicorn. But I knew it was bullshit. It appears your kind didn't.
well at least you own it. I give you props for honesty, unlike the snake-like slithering of #neverTrumps
and blind de-legitimization of the Dems..

I guess Trump was stupid enough to believe both would act in the country's best interest instead of partisan resistance

Trump's dealmaking prowess was supposed to kick in on two levels here.

He would be able to work with Congress due to his guile and skill and self professed likeability therefore get a massive infrastructure plan approved and funded.

His business acumen and specifically as a builder/syndicator/developer/money wizard was to make him uniquely qualified to get this done compared to the idjit politicians around him on the stage.

Both total bullshit. Nothing done, rustbelt crumbling, Qatar has a never better airport. Trump accomplishmen ts? Cipher.

It's gonna be great!

I see another example of the Trumpers getting played is the current mess with the CFPB. Trump wanting to appoint the guy who wanted to abolish it as its head.

PLAYED

so..how does tax reform increase trade deficit
In fact, a larger trade deficit is not a byproduct of the tax plan — it is the heart of the plan. The administration has said its $1.5 trillion tax cut will not balloon the federal budget deficit because the plan will generate enough economic growth to essentially pay for itself. The most optimistic projections of the likely economic benefits of the tax cuts are driven by increased trade deficits.
“I do expect a major trade deficit, absolutely, as part of this,” said Laurence J. Kotlikoff, a professor of economics at Boston University who supports the proposed tax cuts and whose analysis of the economic benefits has been cited by the White House. “If this tax plan works, it works because the U.S. becomes more open to trade.”

Corporation are sitting on a lot of cash right now, if they were going to do great things, they would have done them. This tax plan isn’t helping small businesses from my reading which are the real businesses that create growth, you believe voodoo economics, it didn’t work before, it won’t work now.
Sad to say, he hasn't shown that he actually 'believes' in anything.

He's been reduced to a squawking parrot. Anyone with the ability to read at the 6th grade level is able to study the history of trickle down economics, and the ensuing devastation.

Right, this thread is simply about holding him to account for all his bullshit promises.
Did you ever hear such a load as when he was campaigning ? He rewrote the rules
on ridiculous lying to dumbass America. He relies on forgetfulness. The infrastructure
one doesn't get brought up too much.

No Trump, the left heard you even if the right conveniently forgets.
You forgot 'pointing fingers'. He did it during the campaign, and he continues to do it with the blessing of his minions. How can any sane individual reference 'obstructionst Democrats', when they haven't been privy to any back door deliberations?

hahahahahahahahahahah

how can youi blame Democratic party members idiot?

The right has all the power, so what is being pushed is what they want. Most Republican politicians in the ring, are just rich taint stains, that are Christian by name, and their chosen push button issues only. If they wanted infrastructure, they could pass it in a flash.

The inconsistency does not trouble the many economists and Republicans who do not share Mr. Trump’s overarching view on the downsides of trade. From their perspective, the point of the tax plan is to increase investment in the United States, and there is no reason to shun foreign dollars.

Gavin Ekins, a research economist at the conservative Tax Foundation, said Mr. Trump’s objectives were still aligned in the longer term because increased investment would expand the nation’s economic output over time, which could narrow the trade deficit.

Forget the "growth" bro, it aint gonna happen. What 10 trillion are you speaking of? Could it be the spending that was written and passed by republicans, while every single day you whined about it, now its suddenly a good thing. This plan is solely for corporations and the wealthy while throwing a few crumbs to the rest of us, and even those drums will go away in just a few years.
Unfortunately, it's worse than that. Republicans are trying to set the precedent for fetal personhood in this bill.

just like they claimed the deficit reductions that Clinton produced while not one republican voted for the bill that created the savings

1993 budget reduction act

I remember turning to my hubby and saying

watch them try to claim this

they did try

NOT ONE REPUBLICA VOTED FOR IT

Gore had to vote to break the tie

This tax plan will also have financed, where are the deficit hawks now?

your sentence is unreadable. But a 1.5 T over ten years s peanuts..the entire thing hangs on dynamic growth.

Gven the economic growth we got just off deregulatons, tax reform and simplification should keep us at 3% and more .
That increases revenues/jobs/wages/etc
