OK, today's topic : infrastructure.

Trump bemoaned the decaying US infrastructure and invoked images of modern wonderlands he sees on his Lear jet avarice fueled sojourns.

Where are our futuristic Qatar styled airports in place of crumbling LaGuardia, etc? Where are the Peoria based UAE skyscrapers?

Congress knows all so well just who they are dealing with and they want no part of him. Keep hoping that tax plan will pass, cause it wont.

You can't fund anything when you give massive tax cuts to corporations/billionaires.

I believe he thought he would use the revenue from allowing money repatriation at $.10 on he dollar.

oh please..all you care about is spending. If you want increased spending you gotta get GDP growth.

Tax Reform will give dynamic growth ( as opposed to static scoring).
Corporate tax rates are way out of whack. Get them down to a normative level, while closing loopholes and deductions

If Trump wanted to just spend more you guys would be criticizing him for increasing the deficit.
All you really care about is bashing Trump

Corporation are sitting on a lot of cash right now, if they were going to do great things, they would have done them. This tax plan isn’t helping small businesses from my reading which are the real businesses that create growth, you believe voodoo economics, it didn’t work before, it won’t work now.

WHY ARE THEY SITTING ON CASH??

It's because of high taxes, the same reason they won't repatritiate.
So they just buy bonds -or "sit on it".
The economy wants to expand -look at the markets-but you have to make expansion more profitable then not.

I do agree non-incorported small business won't get a big enough decrease.
I blame it on the reconciliation process.

If you Dems would actually wheel and deal in good faith, instead of "da resistance"
maybe we could get 60 votes in the Senate. But you won't so they have to use reconcilliation

that is over ten years..did you have a problem with Obama adding $10 trillion over 8 years?

Could it be the spending that was written and passed by republicans, while every single day you whined about it, now its suddenly a good thing. This plan is solely for corporations and the wealthy while throwing a few crumbs to the rest of us, and even those drums will go away in just a few years.
