I have never understood how the right wing has come to equate unions with socialism. That's a great big lie. Negotiating as a group for wages and working conditions is hardly socialism and need I point out that it was the unions formed in eastern europe that did more to kill communism then any other nation, organizations or group(s) of people. I can certainly understand why corporations, governments, right wing politicians and business does not like unions but that hardly makes them socialist.
