It looks like the jury is giving it thought.

Dumbass. Provocation goes to the fact that he continued to aim the gun directly at various people

it is well within the self defense laws to use appropriate force, even threats of force (which pointing a gun would be), against those who are threatening bodily harm, as what many of the rioters were doing that night

They may be more worried about the politics and optics of their decision than making one too...
Whatever it takes to find him guilty.

Absent that outcome, someone will 'self defense' the little racist before long.

Also...I'll bet there will be multiple civil suits that will put that pasty white piece of shit in the poor house for a long time.

He provoked any supposed attacks upon himself. Thus, self defense is out the window
Yeah, the way he chased and cornered that manic depressive child rapist then executed him should put him away for life. Plus he and his mother planned it from the beginning.
I'm surprised he was not charged with *gasp* crossing a state line. His mother should be charged for aiding and abating him. She transported a minor across a state line UNDER THE CLOAK OF DARKNESS. That should put her away for decades.

You can claim whatever craziness you want, but the jury is likely considering what consequences their decision might have on subsequent events-- threats on their lives, rioting, etc.--and that shouldn't be.
They should be more worried about opening the door to kids marching into their state and gunning down random citizens.

I think the kid was looking for a fight, it’s why he had an AR instead of a pistol.

A quick verdict would have been bad news for the Prosecution, at least they are giving it serious consideration. Three hours in.

They should give it thought. I think the kid had something of a "hero complex" and got himself into a situation he shouldn't have. I don't know what instructions the judge gave the jury as they consider this case but if I were judge and jury I wouldn't want him getting off scott free. From the evidence I have seen and the case the procecution has made I don't think he should be guilty of full blown murder either. I'm happy they are appearing to be giving everything thorough consideration.

Probably more idiot bullshit from the prosecutors in this case. They've shown themselves to be functional legal illiterates on gun laws and use. But then again, they are idiot liars...err, lawyers.

I'm fairly sure that they've prosecuted a few more gun crime cases than you have. ;)

Stop twisting facts. He aimed the gun at a variety of protestors. They did nothing to incite him.

He started any altercation

You can cloak your post in sarcasm, but there is a lot of truth to the underlying facts. Of course, the judge denied any mention of most of it.

stop deluding yourself and twisting facts. there were half a dozen people blustering like raving lunatics who were making threats towards kyle. Rosenbaum was the worst of them, but he didn't get shot until he chased kyle across the parking lot and almost got him.

What do you think the other people with guns were there for?
They were all racist white supremacists who were hoping that there would be looting.

It was a slow night, and everyone else was smart enough to recognize that the hunting was going to suck that night.
